Maximum Motion’s 4-Week Dharma Yoga Basics Course
Maximum Motion Fitness is offering a 4 week course on the basics of Dharma Yoga. The course begins this Sunday, February 28th 5-6:30pm and costs just $79.
The introductory course will cover the details and basics of the postures (asanas) in the Dharma Level 1 Series. Members will have a chance to see the posture, listen to a short lecture and then have a chance to practice and receive corrections on form and alignment. Taking this course will make it easier for you to integrate into the Dharma 1 classes held on regular schedule.
February 28th: A brief discussion on what yoga is, the sun salutation, standing postures, breathing and a simple concentration/meditation practice.
March 6th: First half of the the stationary postures and pranayama (breathing techniques to increase vitality).
March 13th: The remainder of the postures plus a Q&A session.
March 20th: The full and complete practice.
