Free Art Class for SILVERMAN Kids!
Please join us for an afternoon of creative expression with Paintbugs, a children’s art enrichment program that educates and empowers children with a strong emphasis on art history. On Wednesday January 13th, Paintbugs will hold two sessions at Charles & Co. for children ages 2.5-6 years old:
Session I – Thursday January 14th, 3:00pm
Session II – Thursday January 14th, 4:00pm
Click here to register for a session! Include the session ( I or II) and how many children will attend as there is a limit to class size. Please only register a child for one of the two sessions so that we have space for everyone to try it out! This event is open to SILVERMAN residents only.
Each Paintbugs session begins with an educational book related to the lesson and, depending on the age bracket, each lesson includes: inquiry, observation, creation, discussion and a gallery show. Children are introduced to technique and form including various mediums tailored and aligned to meet each age group and curriculum. These 30 minute lessons are a generic setting to give parents and children an idea of what to expect should they be interested in joining the Paintbugs program.
